Children's Ministry
"Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 (NIV) Our mission at Calvary Chapel is to encourage and equip people (including children) to live in a right-relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe showing children God's love, modeling love for Christ, and instructing them on a level that will most effectively communicate the Bible to their minds and hearts is critical for effective ministry to children. Therefore, we provide age-appropriate ministry for children from newborn to fifth grade for our services on Sunday mornings and Home Fellowship on Sunday evenings. We also engage in summer activities such as camping, camp, or maybe VBS. We pray and ask God what He wants us to do and He directs. Our purpose is to show children that God that loves them and help them grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.

Our plan is for children to become lifelong followers of
Christ by:
* EVANGELIZING children by presenting the gospel.
* TEACHING children the word of God.
* ENCOURAGING children in prayer and worship.
* EQUIPPING children to serve God and share the
gospel with others.
Nursery Sunday Morning:
Contact Kim Hansen iif you are interested in joining in on the nursery rotation schedule. Due to an overflow of children in the nursery we ask that you pair up with somebody.
Sunday School:
We are in need of volunteers for children's church. Please contact Kim Hansen at 540-872-5341. if you are interested in volunteering to assist in the children's church program. Ages are divided up between 3-5 year olds and 6-12 year olds.
Wednesday Night Kids Club: 7:00 - 8:30 in Sanctuary.
