Spiritual Gift Test
Dear church family,
It saddens my heart to hear the news that Pastor Jerry Fallwell passed
away. Pastor Jerry was a wonderful man of God who loved God, family and
others. He had a true passion for Jesus and for the lost. He was known for
taking a stand against sin. We will miss him.
Our prayers are for his family, church, and friends.
In the last post I really wanted each of you to look deep into your hearts
and see if there was anything that was hindering your walk with God. The
neat thing is that with God is that we can be 2,000 steps away from god or
we can be two steps away from god, but in either call all we need to do is
take one step back. That is a prayer of saying we are sorry and asking God
to forgive us. He promises that He will. I John 1:9
My heart is to see you using your God given gift for His glory. Do you
know what your God given spiritual gift is? If you do know, are you using
it foe the building of the kingdom?

Before you take it, pray for an open heart, and a willingness to use your
gifts for His glory. Pray that you are willing to be a doer of the Word
and just not a hearer. James 1:22
